Cookies (and similar technologies like local storage) are small pieces of data stored in your browser. Some are essential for the site to work; others help me understand how the site is used. I group them into categories you can accept or refuse.
How consent works here
I use Google Consent Mode v2. When the page loads, all non-essential storage is set to denied by default. Your choice in the cookie banner updates this signal, and tags are only allowed to run for the categories you accept. Blocking is enforced through Google Tag Manager.
